Frenchies of Healsburg Meet up

If you were anywhere near the Fitch Mountain Elementary backyard on January 11th and heard a chorus of happy snorts, saw a blur of bat ears, or witnessed an impressive amount of wiggling, you weren’t imagining things. You likely stumbled upon Healdsburg’s very own Frenchie National Day celebration.

Organized by local expert (and dog lover) Realtor & MBA Emily Martin, the event was designed with a simple goal: bring the community together for an hour of pure, unadulterated chaos and cuteness.

The Smush-Face Takeover

From 12:00 to 1:00 PM, the schoolyard transformed into the unofficial headquarters of the Healdsburg French Bulldog community. If you know anything about Frenchies, you know they are big personalities in small, sturdy packages. The meetup was less of a “formal gathering” and more of a synchronized explosion of zoomies.

We saw it all:

More Than Just a Playdate

While the dogs were busy making new four-legged best friends, the humans got a chance to connect, too. Events like this remind us why we love living in Healdsburg. It’s not just about the vineyards or the architecture; it’s about the neighbors who take an hour out of their Saturday to stand in a field and laugh at dogs running in circles.

Emily Martin organized this event not just as a Realtor, but as a neighbor who understands that a strong community is built on shared interests, even if that shared interest is owning a dog that sounds like a piglet when it’s happy.

Missed the Fun?

If you missed out on the snorts and smiles this time around, don’t worry. Given the turnout and the sheer joy of the afternoon, we have a feeling the Healdsburg Frenchie community will be gathering again soon.

Big thanks to everyone who came out to Fitch Mountain Elementary to celebrate. Whether you’re looking for the best dog parks in town or the perfect home with a yard big enough for your own pup’s zoomies, keep an eye out for what Emily is planning next!
