Healdsburg is entering a new chapter of creativity with the official naming of the Healdsburg Nomad District, a lively collective of merchants, designers, and makers located along Healdsburg Avenue, between Piper Street and North Street.
Marked by distinctive NOMAD banners, this vibrant stretch highlights the best in home design, art, fashion, and food, inviting visitors to experience Healdsburg’s creative pulse.
What is the Healdsburg Nomad District?
NOMAD, short for North Maker Arts District, was created by a group of local business owners inspired by their shared passion for art, craftsmanship, and community. Their mission is simple: to inspire guests to wander, explore, and connect with the creative energy that defines northern Healdsburg.
“This is an exciting time for Healdsburg,” says Buzz Korth of Maison Smith. “The growth of the town and its rich culture allow this arts district its time to shine.”
Among the founding members are:
- Maison Smith, a family-owned mercantile and interior design boutique offering vintage and bespoke decor.
- Craftwork serves as the neighborhood’s social hub, a creative workspace that brings professionals and innovators together.
- Sotheby’s represents the district’s prestige through its real estate offerings.
- Hotel 27 North, a reimagined boutique that offers hospitality with a lively, design-driven wine country experience.
