The Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation is a nationally recognized certification awarded by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) to real estate professionals who have completed specialized education focused exclusively on the unique needs of buyers and sellers aged 50 and older.
Earning the SRES® designation requires completion of a comprehensive two-day training program covering the financial, legal, emotional, and lifestyle considerations that are most important to mature homebuyers and sellers, including retirement planning, estate planning, Medicare considerations, and senior housing options.
