The event was Bubbles & Tiles: A Sparkling Mahjong Afternoon, to a packed house. The April event sold out quickly and set a high bar for what a winery mahjong experience can feel like: estate-grown Méthode Traditionnelle sparkling poured on arrival, table popcorn, and an optional Dry Creek General Store lunch box to fuel three hours of play. If Amista runs a second edition, it will be worth watching their events calendar closely.
